Physical Implementation

Week #26 (3/29/21 - 4/2/21):

This week, I finally finished all of my rules and met with my mentor to discuss certain questions about the rules I had written for my board game. During the weekend, I also planned how to put together the materials to create the full board game.

First off, I met with Ms.Skorge on Thursday to clarify some doubts I had about a LEED category, take her suggestions on whether certain rules and points were reasonable, and discuss updates on the final presentation night. I created notes on her suggestions and implemented them over the weekend so that my rules are completed.

My other goal for the week was to gather supplies and start creating the physical product. I bought two mini tri-folds, a hot glue gun, an Exacto-knife, and spray paint to create the base of my product. Ms.Skorge suggested I create replaceable parts so that different types of people can learn from the game (such as teachers, students, and clients).

This week, I will confirm my rules list with Ms.Skorge, purchase the paper money, buy velcro stickers to attach the replaceable parts and finish creating the base for my product. Over the weekend, I will be making all my cards and my official rule book to finish up my product.Here is a picture of my week!
