Presentation Complete

Week #29 (4/26/21 - 2/30/21):

This week, I focused on the completion of my presentation video and updating any final details on my website.

A large part of my week was focused on creating the slides and recording my speech. I ensured to add stylistic elements to make my presentation engaging and incorporated videos to vary the ways I displayed my information. Initially, I had trouble setting up the Loom application for my recording, but I was able to figure it out with tutorial videos and trial and error.

My mentor, Ms.Skorge, was able to give me feedback on my product. She mentioned the importance of understanding the “why” in sustainability, so she suggested including elements of purpose for sections of my board game. What I decide to do now is create a purpose statement or page to attach to the back of my board game box so that participants can read over it before they play. I also shared my board game with my architecture teacher at the CTE center to get her take on it as well.

The last task that I did this week was updating my website with all the relevant information about my product. I added my set-up and completion document, the document with all of the rules to my board game, and video of my product, and a description of the product’s purpose and function.

This week consisted of finishing up the last few things involved in the creation of my product and I look forward to reflecting on my ISM journey thus far through an assessment next week. Here is a picture of my week!
