The Grind

Week #12 (11/23/20 - 11/27/20):

I utilized my break from school as an opportunity to get ahead with my original work. I completed all fifteen hours of my original work log over the week with half of my original work completed. For my original work book, I decided to include important background information in the introduction where I explained the principles of sustainability, the process of material selection, and a brief explanation about certification programs in the United States. Additionally, I wanted to make my original work book very modern and unique, so I created a cover page and various chapter dividers on Canva. I decided to convert the document into a pdf once I have finished typing, revising, and fine-tuning my book. After getting in touch with the librarian at my high school campus, I had the opportunity to get in touch with an individual who was directly involved in LEED certifying their school campus. I look forward to speaking with him and learning about how he was able to help his campus become LEED certified along with his college experiences. During the break, I had time to reflect but also put in quality work for my original work, which I hope to finish by this weekend. In terms of my website, I hope to add my architectural sketches and designs to liven the energy and to continue tracking my progress as I grow.
